This wiki is about the late 90s television series, Archies Weird Mysteries, created by DiC Entertainment, as well as all of its associated media. Join that redhead with the freckled face as he solves Weird Mysteries alongside his iconic friend group... in a little town called Riverdale!
The Gist
Archie's Weird Mysteries is a DiC-produced TV show that aired between 1999–2000, as the third and currently last animated series based on the Archie Comics cast. It is largely based on the status quo of the mainline comics, but adds in a dash of B-movie horror. Despite ending after a single forty-episode season, it has continued to air sporadically in reruns to this day, and has garnered a cult following as well.
At the time, there seemed to be plans to expand this new branch of the franchise, as around the same time, the Archie's Weird Mysteries comic series (2000–2004) and the TV movie, The Archies in JugMan (2002), were also produced, and are covered in-depth on this Wiki as well.
